Description
Enartia is looking for a Senior Technical Support Representative. The best candidate should be passionate, highly motivated, familiar/expert with web hosting, and ambitious about a career in technical support. This person will join the Customer Service Team, in-house or remotely, in order to enhance the quality of support offered to Enartia’s customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Hosting, Dedicated and VPS clients
- Partial infrastructure monitor and issue reporting to the infrastructure team
- Hosting-related duties
- Provide technical mentor junior staff
- Enrich and improve our technical knowledge base according to customer requests
- Frequently attend educational seminars / workshops in order to improve knowledge and performance level
Requirements
- Expertise with Linux operating system environments
- Expertise with web and DB servers, such as Apache and MySQL
- Expertise with mail services, such as postfix, dovecot, smtp, imap, pop3, sieve.
- Experience with DNS services, such as Bind , powerdns
- Experience with Plesk or Cpanel
- Experience with shell (bash) scripts
- Familiarity with CMS such as WordPress, Joomla is a plus
- Familiarity with nodejs, Ruby on Rails is a plus
- Familiarity with monitoring systems such as nagios, prometheus is a plus
- Expert troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Greek
- Previous experience required
- Any kind of linux certification is preferred
