Software Engineer (Java Back End)

The successful candidate will join the software & consulting department for developing software applications within co-founded and / or research projects, as well as projects in the field of Public and Private Sector.

Candidate’s profile

• Information Technology / Telecommunications /Networks / Science (Mathematics/Physics) studies
• Java 8 or 11
• Good understanding of Spring Core (version 5 or higher)
• Spring Data
• Spring Security (Basic & Oauth2)
• REST API design
• Apache Camel / Spring Integration
• Knowledge of databases (focus on PostgreSQL)
• Proficient with GIT
• Familiar with unit testing
• Ant/Maven/Gradle
• Swagger API documentation
• Familiar with IT Security aspects
• Technical and analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Experience in corresponding positions of 2+ years

Nice to have

Knowledge of

• Docker Containers
• Devops Mindset (Jenkins. Nexus)
• Spring MVC
• Messaging systems (JMS, ActiveMq, RabbitMq)
• Knowledge of Linux: (focus on Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Neo4j)
• Key/Value stores (Redis)
