QA TEST ENGINEER
SUMMARY
A QA / Test Engineer required for creating an end-to-end test plan; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the products work as expected. The products should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other internal company systems. Work in a Scrum team alongside the developers who develop the company’s products. Carry out research into new technologies, libraries and development techniques.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Design or enhance QA methods and procedures that will be utilized by QA and development staff to ensure all products meet minimum company standards and user requirements.
● Develop QA test plans with optimized testing and priority; Developing and executing quality assurance test scripts, tests plans and checklists.
● Work closely with the other members of the development team to implement test plans and test the quality of software products.
● Be part of the continuous delivery process and determine whether the product should be distributed or not.
● Good writing skills for documenting processes.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education
2. 2+ years experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tool, automation tools.
3. Experience with Git for source control
4. Experience with Unit Testing or Behavior Driven Development tools.
5. Experience with leading NoSQL solutions like MongoDB is a big plus
6. Familiarity with build tools and continuous integration
7. Familiarity with RESTful web services
8. Proven experience by presenting certain project(s) that has been personally accomplished.
