Organic Electronic Technologies P.C. (OET) is looking for one ambitious and experienced scientist or engineer in thin film technologies and advanced nanomaterials for R&D, production, energy applications of organic photovoltaics (OPVs) and other organic electronics (OEs) devices (such as OLEDs, sensors etc.). OET intends to hire professionals and motivated application scientists/engineers in order to work on the development and technical upgrade of the manufacturing process and green energy related applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, measure and evaluate thin films, advanced nanomaterials, printed OPVs and other organic electronic devices
- Prepare, submit, implement and manage R&D projects
- Evaluate, install and maintain products and demos related to OPVs and OEs for various energy and IoT applications
- Provide scientific and technical support on manufacturing for flexible and printed organic electronics (OEs), implement research, innovation and test field projects
- Experimentation, monitors and analyses production performance metrics to ensure that cost and quality targets are maintained
- Establishes and maintains labor standards through work measurement, work simplification, methods engineering and analysis of statistical data
- Develop, submit and deliver technical documents and reports, deliverables and implementation research projects and presentations
- Provide reports and presenting R&D findings to management, clients or other parties
- Install, maintain, implement and order tools, materials and services necessary to complete the job, products and demos of the company
- Collaborate with the production and business staff for OE products, applications and markets.
Desired Skills:
- At least 3 years proven experience in advanced nanomaterials, thin films, PV applications and engineering
- Experience in R&I projects and activities, monitoring and characterization techniques, energy developments
- Familiarity with electronics, electrical circuits, pneumatics solenoids and PLC programming will be highly beneficial
- Hands-on mentality, able to organize practical work in efficient and cooperative way
- Proven flexibility in adapting to working with new technologies, and new devices
- Design experiments methodologies, and keeping thorough laboratory notebook(s)
- Ability to process, analyze, summarize data sets, generate reports and present results using excel, origin, ppt, etc verbally in a collaborative team environment
- Execute Action Plan and Initiate Others
- Proven background in managing well-designed and highly polished deliverables.
Requirements:
- Proven experience, (at least 5 years) work in R&D, materials and materials characterization, energy and thin film photovoltaics
- BSc in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnologies, etc.
- PhD and Master degree in Nanotechnologies, Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, MBA
- Proven working experience in Energy applications and Installations and as a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineer
- Proven Excellent knowledge in English
- Proficient in MS office, Excel and PowerPoint
- To be in a position to travel worldwide
- Have fulfilled military obligations – mandatory to male Greek candidates.
