applications. We are looking for a software engineer to join our team and help us build
the next generation of control and processing software for our instruments.

Your position will involve:
Designing the UI of web-apps which:
Control hardware components of multiple sensors (Lidar instruments)
Schedule and control measurements
Fetch and display device and other embedded sensors status (housekeeping data, state)
Fetch and display Lidar data
Developing code and libraries with their maintainability and reusability in mind.
Working closely with the backend developers for API design.
Turning requirements into simple (but not simplified) software designs.
Design new functionality and refactor existing one.
Write well-structured, reusable and testable code following best practices.
3+ years of proven web UI/UX development experience:
Good grasp of a modern frontend framework (Vue.js/Angular/React, with Vue.js preferred)
Good understanding of JavaScript
HTML, CSS etc
Basic RESTful API consumption experience for interfacing with our Django backend
Working knowledge of git version control system
Basic Django experience
Scientific data visualization experience (e.g. plot.ly)
Familiarity with frontend testing technologies
A portfolio of personal projects
