Lufthansa Systems FlightNav Inc., part of the Lufthansa Group, provides navigation data and produces aeronautical charts and innovative navigation applications to support the flight operations of more than 200 airlines worldwide. The company is located in Opfikon ZH, Switzerland, close to the Zurich airport and currently employs over 200 staff members.

Developer iOS (80-100%)

We are looking for an expert with solid iOS development skills to join our scrum team responsible for our cockpit application mPilot. We develop the mobile apps that commercial pilots use to conduct their flights. We support them from briefing to landing, throughout a curated and workflow-oriented design.

We would like to extend our team with a highly motivated developer who would help us taking this app to the next level. Your ideas and creativity will be appreciated, and you will be able to have a real influence on the product you are contributing to build.

Your responsibilities

• Develop an iOS application within an aeronautical environment
• Together with your team you develop and define the architecture of a continuous integration environment and ensure stable releases of the iOS application
• Cooperate with different development locations

Your profile

• Degree in Computer Science
• >3 years of programming experience in mobile development with Swift, Objective-C or C++
• Deliver high quality code and have experience with Git (or another version control system)
• Interest in creating the best design (together with our UX team) for the next features you will work on
• Knowledge or interest in DevOps is a plus
• Experience in working with iOS connectivity, low level programming and vendor library integration
• Interest in aviation
• Professional experience with an Appstore app
• Strong English skills (written and spoken)
• Swiss or EU national or a holder of a Swiss working
