Ulysses Systems is a software development company in the marine domain, with offices in Athens, Mumbai and London; is looking for a senior software engineer for its Athens branch. The current opening is for an experienced, open-minded professional that will assist in the development of solutions for a broad range of projects and technologies.
As member of the team you should:
Design and code platform for applications.
Analyze and develop detailed software specifications to provide production version of the applications following SLDC.
Be able to work with appropriate design patterns and utilize software development methodologies to develop innovative software solutions to overcome challenging / crossdomain business requirements.
Be able to engage technology and guide other less experienced team members to bypass issues and daily obstacles and deliver results that meet specifications, are defect free, with proper security controls and have optimal performance.
Utilize your experience to suggest technological proposals that would improve current and future solutions.
Acting as trusted advisor, for both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience/ Skills Required:
Professional experience in requirement analysis for designing and implementing of platformbased solutions.
Strong knowledge and proven experience to .NET framework coding in C#.
Experience in designing and development of Web Services, service-oriented architecture and propose/adapt design patterns to cover development needs.
Hands on experience and excellent knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, work with JSON, XML, CSV formats and MS SQL Server.
Adequate knowledge of front end development including WPF, HTML, CSS, ReactJS/Angular.
Strong experience with Devops solutions (Azure Devops, GitHub or other) and Cloud ecosystem.
Will be considered a plus:
Experience in Mobile application frameworks
Full Stack knowledge of Software and IT systems
Experience in latest Microsoft Cloud technologies Experience in Elasticsearch, SOLR or other similar solutions
Knowledge of no Relational Databases
Experience in Shipping Solutions
