B2B SALES REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE PERSONAL CARE INDUSTRY

AVEL LTD is an innovative commercial company operating in the field of raw materials since 1987, acting as an exclusive distributor for international reputable manufacturers of ingredients, which are designed, patented, and addressed to the Industries of Food, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food Supplements, Detergents & Winery. Apart from a commercial distributor, AVEL also specializes in the provision of consulting services with a strong know - how on development and delivery of innovative specialty raw materials.

We are currently looking to expand our team in our Athens offices with a Sales Representative for the Personal Care Industry. The sales representative will act as the principle point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for proactively pursuing and securing sales with businesses, while maintaining strong working relationships with all customers. He/ She actively will support the sales strategy and analyse data to improve results and increase sales.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Actively promoting and specialty ingredients intended for the Personal Care Industry
  • Developing the sales of our demanding portfolio through existing customers, maximizing sales opportunities and identifying new potential clients.
  •  Providing our customers with general & specific information, as well as technical support regarding our product portfolio, relevant applications, documents and presentations
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management.
  • Supporting our channel partners in their sales and marketing activities
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
  • Meeting or exceeding set sales targets and regularly monitoring sales plans and objectives
  • Analyzing sales data to improve results and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitoring of competitors activity and products.

 

Basic Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelors’ degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agronomy or related field
  • Prior experience in sales is not required but will be appreciated
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel/visit multiple customers throughout the assigned territory (within the country)
  • Military obligation fulfilled (for men)
  • Driving license (Type B)
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of personal care ingredients
  • Good understanding of business principles and practices
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Communication and customer service Skills
  • Teamwork spirit
  • Transparency and Reliability
